In honor of Halloween, we're drinking a 2009 Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale. Jay's had the bottle since his birthday in July; it's made it all the way from Seattle to our new house in North Carolina.
Claudia: Peaches, apricots, some butter cream. More bitter than I expected, yet still delightfully drinkable. Would pair well with a turkey sandwich. 7.5/10
Jay: Smells faintly of apricots and raisins. Pleasant, clear, fruity taste masks the high (9%) alcohol content until the end. Nice mild hop finish. I'm very pleased with this beer and could drink a lot of it in one sitting. 8.5/10
