AleSmith IPA

While visiting Claudia's family in New York for Thanksgiving, we stopped by DeCicco's in nearby Ardsley. We picked up an AleSmith IPA, a California beer that Jay's been waiting to try.

Jay: Clean, herbal smell; clear, fruity, piney, citrusy taste that recalls the archetypal West Coast IPA. What distinguishes this IPA from its competitors is its perfect level of hoppiness and carbonation. This is exactly what an IPA should be. 9.5/10

Claudia: You stumble into a mossy garden and the sun is shining. You taste bitter clovers and intense hops, yet it all feels light. However, this beer still leaves dark shadows on your tongue. There's not enough balance. 7/10
