Stone Double Bastard Ale
Jay: Starts out sticky and fruity. Very strong hop presence. Subtle taste of caramel. Moderate alcohol taste lingers in mouth after drinking. Definitely a strong, flavorful beer. 8/10
Claudia: I detect a nuttiness and maybe some pumpernickel. This beer lingers long in your mouth after you've drunk it, and forms a nice round curve. It makes me want to suck on a lemon. This is a tasty beer, especially considering how alcoholic it is, but I couldn't drink it that much. It still retains some lightness despite the heaviness, but part of me just wishes it was as dark and strong as a porter. I am a little drunk. (Ed: Which explains why this review makes no sense.) 6.5/10
